Carless Cocktails: Vegan Jello Shots

They are like regular jello shots, just vegan. And look you can be extra eco by reusing some orange peels.

 

Vegan Jello Shots

Ingredients:

    1 cup sweet fruit juice
    1 cup coconut rum or vodka
    1/2 teaspoon agar powder
    1/2 tablespoon corn starch

Directions:

Pour the juice into a microwave-safe container or a small pot.  Mix in the agar powder and let sit for about 5 minutes.  Bring the juice to a boil in the microwave or on the stove and boil or simmer for about 1 minute.  Stir in DISSOLVED cornstarch* and rum or vodka.  Pour mixture into about 15 to 18 shot glasses or small cups or orange peels.  Refrigerate a few hours to let the jello set.  Keep refrigerated until use.

*To dissolve the cornstarch, mix it with about 1 to 2 Tbsp. COLD water.

Carless Cocktails: Pom Orange Vegan Cocktail

"i think sometimes there is a misconception that all vegans are super health driven or won't put anything toxic in their body," miss v.

Yeah, I use cocaine all of the time. I'll put anything in my body as long as it doesn't have anything to do with animals. I'm sure cocaine kills lots of people in regards to the trafficking of it, but people are evil and animals are good.

 
  * 1/3 cup soy ice cream
  * 4 oz. POM wonderful juice
  * 1/2 medium orange, peeled
  * 3 oz. high quality rum

Carless Cocktails: Organic Vegan Bloody Mary

Is there any other kind of Bloody Mary than a vegan kind? Probably not, but being obnoxious is your specialty.

Ingredients:
1 cup tomato or vegetable juice cocktail (Why not go to your local Farmer's Market and get some organic tomatoes and make your own tomatoes juice!! Or grow tomatoes and tell everyone about it!!! We all care about your tomatoes.)
Ice cubes
1½ nips (45ml) vodka (a nip is an ounce)
A pack of cigarettes

Preparation method:

1. In a tall glass, pour tomato-vegetable juice cocktail over ice. Stir in the vodka.

2. Smoke a cigarette.

I am pretty sure American Spirit are vegan and organic.

Carless Cocktails: Cranberry Kamikaze

It's 10:00am and you want to start the day right. Mom said drink orange juice. Step mom said drink cranberry juice. Juice is great, but you have a bit of a hangover from last night's shindig. You're going to need to add a bit of a pick me up to your fresh juice.

Now owing to the fact that you care about the environment and the judge took your license away with the threat that he was going to send you to jail for real next time you don't drive. Your reward? You get to have cocktails for breakfast.

Today's Carless Cocktail:

Cranberry Kamikaze

30ml (1 to 2 fl oz) vodka
30ml (1 to 2 fl oz) orange liqueur, such as Cointreau
15ml (1/2 fl oz) lime cordial
50ml (2 fl oz) cranberry juice

1. Pour vodka, orange liqueur, lime cordial and cranberry juice over ice in a shaker. Shake until well mixed. Pour into a chilled cocktail glass.


Be generous with the alcohol, remember you don't drive. Love mother earth and crap.

Carless Cocktails: Moet & Chandon Champagne

You're going out for cocktails tonight, but there's no reason you shouldn't start the party early? You aren't driving. Pop open a bottle of Moet and drink the whole bottle before you go.

That dress you got from Shareen's Vintage looks lovely on you. In times like these, vintage is the way to go.

Carless Cocktails: Vegan Rosemary Brown Derby

Ingredients:

• Sazerac rye whiskey
• Organic red grapefruit
• Home-made organic honey-rosemary syrup
• Bucket glass

Preparation:

To make honey-rosemary syrup: add 2 parts agave to one part water and warm on the stove. Then add at least two dozen rosemary leaves without the sprigs to the syrup and continue heating until your desired taste is met.

• Muddle two organic red grapefruit wedges in a bucket glass
• Add 1 oz honey-rosemary syrup
• Fill glass with ice
• Add 2 oz Sazerac rye whiskey and stir.
• Garnish with a rosemary sprig next to the straw

Carless Cocktails: Vegan Chocolate Martini

2 shots vodka

1 shot coffee liquor OR crème de cacao

1 shot Silk chocolate soy milk

After a long day on the bus I think you deserve two of these, no three. You're an eco warrior princess (or prince) and you deserve to be rewarded with alcohol.
