In celebration of everything that is alt-transportation The Bus Bench will be having some events.
Thursday the 12th- Browne Molyneux will be interviewed by Thandisizwe on 90.7 KPFK's Some of Us Are Brave at 2pm discussing Diane Meyer's Without a Car Exhibit, the future of transportation, and how it intersects with race and class.
Friday the 13th- The Bus Bench will be leading a bike ride with LA Streets Blog and the Eastside Bike Club along the Gold Line. It starts at 7:30AM (note this is in the morning) at the Little Tokyo Eastside Gold Line Extension. Meet at 6:45am for coffee at Starbucks (138 S Central Ave, Los Angeles, CA.)
Saturday the 14th- @ 2pm Browne Molyneux will be on a panel with Claude Willey, Artist, Urbanist and Educator, Department of Urban Studies and Planning, Jessica Meaney a transportation planner with SCAG, Sunyoung Yang from the Bus Riders Union, and Stephen Box from the Bike Writer's Collective talking about the future of transportation at 18th Street Gallery as part Diane Meyer's Without a Car Exhibit.
Sunday the 15th- @ 4pm The Bus Bench will be riding the Linia de Oro and getting out at the Mariachi Plaza for Purgatory Pizza, yummy.

It was GREAT to see you two and you both looked stunning!! Sorry I was too busy to chat and spend more time with you. The Gold Line opening made us busier than we had anticipated even with us prepping and anticipating for the busiest day ever. Hoping the Gold Line will be a Gold Mine for Purgatory Pizza, (not just an opening day thing,) and I can then pay someone to work and get more time to enjoy friends like you. ;)
