WTF is this?

And as long as Fred says its safe it must be safe.

Sigh. C'mon...

For the record, I don't think anything in life is safe. All I said, and in fact it was Steven Hymon and not me who said it, was that "I think the operator has excellent sight lines in terms of seeing traffic around the train and crosswalks".

My notes had more to do about my personal preference for at-grade light rail (and I made no mention of safety), the aesthetic design of the stations, and the fare gate/TPIS oddities.

You can read the post here if you need further proof: http://thesource.metro.net/2009/10/28/eastside-gold-line-impressions/

If Fred says something, it must be something Fred said... nothing more. But just make sure he said it.

It was a joke Fred, geez.

You started working for The Man and suddenly have gotten all serious. (HINT: That was a joke too.)

Fred Camino had to cut his hair for the Metro job. Confirm/deny.
