The Bus Bench’s roots are in Social Ecology.
The Bus Bench takes a satirical and editorial approach to dealing with the issue of mobility in Los Angeles. The emphasis of The Bus Bench is public transportation, but we also discuss class, race, gender and Downtown Los Angeles.
In commenting on The Bus Bench we do not mind if your opinion differs than that of an opinion of a writer on a particular post. We welcome discourse. We only ask that you be respectful. Do not be violent with your words.

At any rate, I currently live and cycle in LA and you can find me at various bike mobs, art shows, open bars and on Candied Cartel dot com.

Though one thing I've always thought about, and they didn't mention in the video... parking lots. Imagine if we didn't have to have all that space covered in asphalt.

Ack, folk music. Scary. Otherwise the sentiment is good.

I thought the folk music part of it was an attempt at humor, but the more I listen to it the more I think, maybe it is serious. I know the song is serious, but how it is sung is funny.
Either way its annoying like a good political song should be. First you are like, "this is cool," and then you are like, "shut up man, you suck, stop it..."
I'm going to get my guitar out and sing it at parking lots. I will help the song by adding a verse about parking lots.
